Super fun, affordable, and close to home

We know how challenging it is to find a day camp that is high value and high quality, connects the best of Metro Vancouver with your kids, is adventurous, and gives your children the attention and support they need. This is why we run local and mobile small group day camp experiences for kids aged 5–12. Our spring break camps are designed to provide a balance of fostering children’s social-emotional learning, outdoor skill-based training, creativity, and immersive play. Whether it’s snowshoeing at Mount Seymour or letting loose at a local pool, there’s always something exciting to do at Fireside’s Spring Break Kids’ Day Camps!

Week One: “Vancouver’s Greatest Hits”

Monday: Granville Island & Kitsilano

  • Today’s focus is on team building and getting to know each other. We’ll start in Granville Island, with our classic “Wildness of Music” introduction to outdoor music-making, then grab the Aqua Bus and head to Kits Beach to building some beach forts!

Tuesday: North Vancouver

  • Get ready to hop on the Sea Bus for a Lonsdale Quay adventure day! It’ll be an exciting day of ice skating, chalk graffiti, and delicious desserts.

Wednesday: Vancouver

  • There’s nothing quite like a Bike and Swim Day. We’ll start the morning at Olympic Village Station, our launch-pad for our bike adventure where we’ll be touring some of Vancouver’s best bike paths. Then, we’ll finish the day at Hillcrest Pool, one of the best places to swim, dive, and sauna in Vancouver.

Thursday: North Vancouver or Vancouver.

  • Juniors/Intermediates: Today we will have an exciting day with Mike at Wild Education, where we will meet an incredible variety of reptiles, learn about each reptile, and even hold and feed them. Reptiles include tortoises lizards and snakes.

  • Seniors: It’s time to get your monkey on with Vancouver’s top-of-the-line indoor climbing. After tiring ourselves out out on the climbing wall, we’ll catch a matinee movie for some relaxation.
